Not every journey asks for a week. The Short Escapes distill the Pantanal into three nights and four days at a single exceptional lodge. Long enough for the wetlands to reveal themselves, and short enough to fit the trip you already have planned.
Each escape follows the natural rhythm of its lodge: sunrise safaris, boat excursions, horseback rides and night drives, led by the people who know these landscapes best. With two full days in the field and no time lost moving between properties, you settle in and let the Pantanal come to you.
Designed for first-time visitors, long weekends and travelers weaving the Pantanal into a wider Brazilian itinerary. And because every escape shares the same effortless logistics, two or three can be combined, back to back, into a deeper journey across distinct regions of the Southern Pantanal.
How an Escape Unfolds
Day 1
Arrival
Meet and greet in Campo Grande, followed by a scenic transfer to your lodge. Wildlife sightings often begin on the road; your first guided excursion begins the same afternoon.
Days 2 & 3
In the Field
Two full days shaped around the lodge's finest experiences: safaris, boat excursions, walking trails, horseback rides and night drives, always with expert local guides.
Day 4
Farewell
One final sunrise activity and a hearty Pantaneiro breakfast before the return to Campo Grande, or onward to your next escape.
