Spend the day exploring one of the Southern Pantanal’s most spectacular landscapes. The Vazante do Castelo is considered one of the largest and most beautiful floodplains in the Pantanal, stretching for nearly 100 km. During the dry season, its remaining wetlands attract extraordinary concentrations of waterbirds and other wildlife. This remarkable region also offers breathtaking scenery and excellent photographic opportunities.

Your final full day offers the perfect opportunity to revisit your favorite habitats or search for species still missing from your wish list. The experienced guiding team will tailor the day’s activities according to recent sightings and your personal interests.
Overnight · Baía das Pedras (B, L, D)
After one final morning activity and breakfast, begin your journey back to Campo Grande. As you travel through different regions of the Pantanal, witness the changing landscapes and experience yet another side of this remarkable ecosystem. If you’re fortunate, you may encounter one of the Pantanal’s most iconic cultural scenes: a traditional cattle drive, where Pantaneiro cowboys on horseback and mules guide hundreds of cattle across the plains using centuries-old techniques still practiced today. Arrival at your hotel in Campo Grande is expected in the late afternoon. We will be delighted to recommend one of the city’s excellent restaurants for your final evening in Brazil. (B, L)
