Wildlife & Birds
Some highlight species of this region are the black skimmer, the yellow-faced parrot, the henna-capped foliage-gleaner, and many gallery-forest birds such as the rufous-tailed jacamar, the blue-crowned motmot and the helmeted manakin.






Getting There
By 4x4 Vehicle
A scenic journey of approximately 6 hours from Campo Grande through the farms, wetlands and open landscapes of the Southern Pantanal. Wildlife sightings are common along the way, making the transfer itself an enjoyable introduction to the region.
By Air via Aquidauana
Drive approximately 2 hours from Campo Grande to Aquidauana on paved roads, followed by a spectacular 30-minute panoramic flight over the Pantanal, with breathtaking aerial views of the region.
Private Charter Flight (if available)
